Aligning Perspectives is owned and led by Aisling Pierce, an accomplished HR professional with over 30 years of experience in human resource leadership.

 

Prior to founding Aligning Perspectives, Aisling served as European HR Director for State Street Corporation, a Fortune 500 company with over 40,000 employees worldwide. Before that, she held several senior roles at Barclays Bank Plc., beginning as Head of HR for Barclays Ireland, where she successfully established and led the HR function for the Corporate Banking division. She later moved to London to join the UK HR leadership team, acting as a Senior HR Business Partner to the Group’s Central Functions and the organisation’s most senior executives.

 

Aisling holds a BA in Economics and Psychology, a Diploma in Human Resource Management (awarded with Distinction), and a Certificate in Mediation. She is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and a qualified member of the Mediators’ Institute of Ireland. Her professional development also includes advanced studies in Organisational Design, Leadership, and Consulting Skills.

She is deeply committed to fostering inclusive workplaces and has successfully implemented diversity and inclusion initiatives that have led to tangible improvements in equality and employee engagement metrics. Aisling has also led multiple business acquisitions in both Ireland and the United States, navigating complex HR landscapes with expertise and precision.

 

Aisling is highly skilled in managing employee relations cases, offering expert guidance in line with legal requirements. She is also an experienced and independent investigator in handling disciplinary, grievance, and dignity at work complaints, ensuring a fair, impartial, and legally compliant process.

 

Aisling is known for her ability to build strong, collaborative relationships across all levels and geographies within an organisation. She excels in training and coaching Managers who are stepping into new roles or undergoing transitions, helping them develop their business strategies, create effective structures, and assemble manage and develop the right teams to achieve their goals.

Mediation

Aisling has a deep commitment to Mediation as an effective, impartial, and results-driven approach for resolving disputes across various settings, including workplace, family and commercial environments.

 

As a certified member of the Mediators Institute of Ireland, Aisling is highly qualified to facilitate resolutions in matters involving workplace conflicts, commercial disputes, separating couples and family issues.
